Ovarian cysts are the most common benign tumors occurring in the ovaries.
Healthy women will generally see them rupture on their own and gradually disappear,
but depending on the type and body condition, the size may grow or abnormal cyst production may continue, leading to fertility issues, amenorrhea, or irregular uterine bleeding, pelvic pain, abdominal swelling, back pain,
frequent urination, bladder irritation, cyst rupture, and peritoneal inflammation due to intraperitoneal bleeding.
Therefore, cysts that do not disappear naturally within a few months should not be neglected but actively treated with safe oriental medical methods.
A patient with 5cm and 3cm ovarian cysts on both ovaries saw a reduction to 2cm after 9 weeks of herbal medicine treatment, followed by a recurrence of 6.63.35.4cm cysts 6 months after voluntarily ending treatment, with the disappearance of the ovarian cyst confirmed after another 10 weeks of herbal medicine treatment.
The disappearance of ovarian cysts was confirmed in patients whose cyst size and number had increased, through herbal medicine consumption.
Symptoms of ongoing pelvic pain after laparoscopic ovarian cyst surgery were improved through oriental medical treatment (herbal medicine, acupuncture, moxibustion).
